Local – Salt Lake County Utah – Salt Lake County Seed Swap and Early Spring Garden Discussion

Come one, come all to the first Salt Lake County Seed Swap event of the new year!
Bring any early spring crop seed you’d like to share or donate– lettuce and other greens, Brassicas like broccoli and kale, perennials that need to be planted indoors soon for transplant into the flower garden, etc, etc.We will have a mini-class/discussion on what you can be doing in the garden right now, early spring planting options and a few methods to get those crops growing as soon as possible. Then we’ll swap! We may end up with plenty of seed, we may end up with very little – our bank is still in its infant stage – so no amount of seed is too small!

Where: Ruth Vine Tyler (Midvale) Library

8041 South Wood Street
(55 West)
Midvale, Utah 84047When: Thursday, January 31st from 7:00 – 8:30pm
